We are extremely proud to provide our in-house Forest School where our children are allowed to:

We are incredibly proud to be able to offer our own Forest School provision led by our own, in-house qualified Forest School teacher, Miss Cohen!

Our amazing HOWL provides an exciting element to our school's curriculum offer as it provides our children with opportunities for meaningful outdoor learning.  We are very fortunate to employ a superbly skilled, enthusiastic and passionate Forest School teacher, Miss Cohen, who is able to plan and deliver engaging and challenging sessions with Forest School values that are linked closely to the needs of the pupils.

Our HOWL environment promotes our learners' creativity, independence,  communication skills, resilience, reasoning and problem-solving activities within a completely natural environment.

I love the rules of Forest School they keep me safe

I love the fire and toasting marshmallows

Year 2/3

I enjoy it when we make fires and have hot chocolate and marshmallows.

I like making pictures out of nature.

I love all the animals (butterflies, slugs, snails, beetles and centipedes).

I like being in our woods it reminds me of Macc Forest.

We learn about Mother Nature.

Trees help us breathe.

In the woods we feel calm.

I liked it when we went on a mushroom hunt.

In forest school I work and play with children  I don't usually play with.
